Make Disciples – Virginia Tech University

Braydon came to college as a typical freshman with his own interests and desires. Braydon was super into bodybuilding and his image, so much so that he made it an idol. He was also drawn by the temptations of the world, such as sex and partying. However, this left Braydon with brokenness in his soul that only Jesus could fix. One night, Braydon had a radical encounter with Jesus that changed his life forever. After this encounter, he committed his life to serve God and got involved with VTXA (Virginia Tech Chi Alpha). Braydon was discipled and eventually became a leader. He was encouraged to grow and use his spiritual gifts. In our XA group, Braydon is one of the best evangelists as he disciples those he leads to Christ. This is our vision, to see disciples make disciples, who make disciples. J.R. VTXA

Gregg’s Greeting

I love Braydon’s story from VT Chi Alpha. A student transformed by Jesus, discipled, reached other students and discipled them. Our passion and vision in Chi Alpha is to model ministry after Jesus’ ministry, to make disciples who make disciples. Thank you for your investment in helping us reach students with the Gospel to become disciple-makers on university campuses across the U.S.

Prayer Requests

Please pray for great training, relationship building, and skill development for these two conferences. USM Spring Candidate Orientation: March 18-24, 2023, Springfield MO. I’ll begin discipling 11 new Nationally Appointed XA missionaries this Spring. Unbound: Support Raisers Leadership Conference, April 11-14, 2023, Colorado Springs, CO. More than 400 participants and over 100 mission organizations will attend. This conference provides solutions and resources to move the Great Commission forward with fully funded staff. Feb 16, 2023. Gregg will have neck fusion surgery. Please pray for Dr. Luders and his staff to provide an excellent procedure. Pray for a quick recovery, especially for the first two weeks.
