Dear Ministry Partner,

Planting Ministries – Reaching Students

Brandon and Kendra Kerston (above) are missionaries at SDSU (San Diego State University). Brandon pictured far right green shirt and lower pic praying for a student on campus.

Thank you!! Your support helped launch them one year ago Sept. 2016!

Whirlwind Across the Nation

Brandon-and-Kendra-Kerston-3Right now there is a whirlwind of activity on every campus in the nation, both physically and spiritually! In the unseen realm there is a battle going on for the souls of collegians. Thousands of freshman on each campus arrive excited but soon become bewildered and vulnerable.

As students move onto campus and classes begin, university ministries are in “high gear”. Welcome week, dorm move-ins, barbecues, sidewalk organization tables, “pick-up” sports games and even free rides home from the bars are all designed to interact with students, establish new relationships and bring them to Jesus.

Last fall Chi Alpha nationally had 5,000 students saved! Pray with us for another great “move” of the Holy Spirit on university campuses across our nation.

My Next Two Trips:

August 28-Sept 1, 2017. National Leadership Summit, Springfield, MO. Field Resource Specialists (Gregg being one) and the top leadership of Chi Alpha will attend this week long event. Pray for great vision, prayer and planning to take National XA to the next level.

September 16-27, 2017. US Missions Fall Candidate Orientation, Springfield, MO. During candidate orientation we will train 20 new missionaries. (Nine of them are Chi Alpha missionaries.) As we train these leaders, pray for God’s Spirit to stir candidate’s hearts and equip them to accomplish their calling.

Gregg’s Greeting

1. We just received great news. At the time of the car accident in Feb, Erin’s broken collarbone revealed osteoporosis. Her blood labs were a low “30” count. After treatment and much PRAYER, her labs were “138”! Her Doc. said she’s never seen that level in an adult. That level only occurs in young kids with growing bones! We serve an Incredible God!

2. Erin has greatly improved from the concussion. She finished therapy last week. Some vestiges remain and doc says they’ll continue to reduce. We thank the Lord for the tremendous improvement.

3. We are so blessed with new ministry partners that continue to join our team. Our support is at 76% and climbing. THANK YOU for your partnership to place missionaries on university campuses to reach collegians for Christ!

4. Please pray for good health for both of us as we continue to serve the Lord and his mission.

We Love and Appreciate you!
