Impact!
Students are moving into dorms by the tens of thousands on university campuses across our nation. September is a crucial time when students form friendships — for better or worse — that will shape their entire collegiate experience. Our vision is for every believer and missionary leader to reach out and make a difference in the lives of students on campus for the Lord Jesus Christ!
You can help make this happen. Will you join me during the month of September to pray for an outpouring of God’s Spirit throughout our 265 Chi Alpha ministries and 1,200 staff nationwide? Pray for a great anointing on the Large Group worship services, Discipleship Small Groups, and Outreach events. Together, they’re designed to connect students in relationship, open doors for the Gospel, and help them grow strong in their walk with the Lord. Then after graduation, they carry that same passion to impact others for Christ into their world. Below are some specific prayer points and scriptures we can lift up together.
Your prayers are far-reaching and help form the foundation for thousands upon thousands of students to come to faith in Jesus Christ this new school year.

Chi Alpha Campus Ministries – Fall 2026 Prayer
Spiritual Hunger
Pray that students would become open to the gospel and begin asking honest questions about Jesus, faith, identity, and purpose.
Scripture: Matthew 5:6
6 “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.”
Divine Appointments
Pray for Spirit-led conversations and meaningful connections with students who are searching for friendship, belonging, and truth.
Scripture: Colossians 4:3–4
3 “And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. 4 Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should.”
Gospel Witness
Pray that missionaries and students would communicate the gospel clearly, courageously, naturally, and with genuine love.
Scripture: Romans 1:16
16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.”
Discipleship and Transformation
Pray that students would not only attend events but grow into lifelong followers of Jesus who live out their faith every day.
Scripture: Matthew 28:19–20
19 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Healthy Missionaries and Teams
Pray for spiritual strength, emotional health, physical endurance, healthy rhythms, and deep dependence on Jesus.
Scripture: Ephesians 3:16–19
16 “I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”
Unity and Christian Community
Pray for Chi Alpha Campus Ministry communities to be established and grow in love, unity, worship, hospitality, biblical truth, and genuine care for one another.
Scripture: Acts 2:42,43,46,47
42 “They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. 46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts,47 praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”
Lasting Fruit
Pray that this year would produce transformed lives, new leaders, healthy ministries, and students sent into the world as faithful witnesses.
Scripture: John 15:16
16 “You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit, fruit that will last, and so that whatever you ask in my name, the Father will give you.”
